There will be no open call for submissions through mail this year. This is in an effort to save time an money for both the festival and the filmmakers. Selections to the 2012 festival will be by INVITATION ONLY.
If you have a completed work and you would like to have it considered, please send an email to submissions@foursitefilmfest.com and include the following:
- Information about the filmmakers (name, city, country)
- Information about the film
- Run time
- aspect ratio
- shoot format
- exhibition formats (we prefer digital files)
- Links to web site, trailers, clips (anything you want us to view without having to search)
- What kind of audience you feel your film is suited for and any other pertinent info.
- Link to film online (video, YouTube, etc.)

If we are interested in your film, then we will view it from your link or request a copy. This does not mean you are selected, but it is a good sign.

IS YOUR FILM A SHORT OR A FEATURE?
• Films up to 30 minutes are SHORT length.
• Films longer than 30 min will be considered FEATURE length.
ORIGINAL FORMATS:
We accept film shot in any aquisition format.
EXHIBITION FORMATS:
We prefer any digital format that is compatible for playback on an editing station with Final Cut Pro. We have a state-of-the-art projection system that supports playback from the hard drive, so digital format is preferred although DVD still can look very good. We want your film to look as close to its original quality as possible.
HD codecs make this possible.
FILMMAKER ENTRY DEADLINE - March 30, 2012
There is no fee for the 2012 Foursite Film Festival. So all emails must be sent by 3-30-2012.
SELECTION PROCESS:
All selections are viewed at least three times and selected by a committee of professional Utah-based filmmakers. The selection committee also will make award recommendations. Awards are then selected from a separate committee, ensuring that each film is viewed at least six times by individuals in the film industry. Official selections are announced as soon as all selections have been made.

All shipments must be prepaid. If your film is selected, we will provide you with the address.
